Compare two price lists and see what changed
Paste or upload last quarter's supplier price list and the new one. You get price increases, decreases, new SKUs and the items that quietly disappeared, sorted by size of change. Free, no signup. It runs entirely in your browser: your files are never uploaded.
Old price list
CSV, or copy the rows from Excel and paste below.
New price list
Columns can be renamed or reordered; we match on the SKU.
Pricecheck takes the supplier's email as it arrives, PDF included, compares it with the last version and sends back only the lines that moved. $49/mo, first month free for early signups. No payment now.
How to compare an old and new supplier price list
- Export both lists to CSV, or open each in Excel and copy the rows including the header.
- Paste or upload them above. We guess the SKU and price columns; change them if the guess is wrong.
- Press Compare. Increases and decreases are sorted by percentage change, biggest first.
- Download the changes as CSV to send to whoever approves the new costs.
Why not VLOOKUP?
VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP works when both files use the same SKU format and the same columns. Supplier lists drift: "AB-100" becomes "AB100", columns get renamed, rows get reordered, and discontinued items simply vanish, which a lookup from the new list never shows you. This tool normalises SKU formatting, matches across renamed columns, and lists dropped items separately.
What about PDF price lists?
This free tool reads CSV and pasted spreadsheet rows. If your supplier sends PDFs, Pricecheck reads those from the forwarded email.
